Projected Title Winners and Polls

The projected title winner for the NHL are either the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Chicago Blackhawks. The Pittsburgh Penguins finished the season with 36 wins, 12 losses, and 0 overtime losses. The only team to have 0 overtime losses out of all 30 teams in 48 games. The Penguins are tied 2-2 in a series with the New York Islanders. The Chicago Blackhawks finished with 36 wins, 7 losses, and 5 overtime losses. They had a 26 game point streak. The Blackhawks are winning the series 3-1 against the Minnesota Wild. All games are in the first round except the San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks. The Sharks swept the Canucks 4-0. The first series to be over in 2013. All series in the first round have been completed. Sharks beat Canucks 4-0, Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Islanders 4-2, Rangers beat the Caps 4-3, Red Wings beat Ducks 4-3, Bruins beat Leafs 4-3, Kings beat Blues 4-2, Senators beat Habs (Canadiens) 4-3, Blackhawks beat Wild 4-1.

The projected title winner for the NBA are either the Miami Heat or the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Miami Heat won their first series by beating The Milwaukee Bucks in 4 games too none. The star player on the Heat, LeBron James won the MVP award during that season. They moved on to the Chicago Bulls in the second Round and lost the first game but, tied up the second game. They finished the Bulls off in 5 games and now moved on to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Houston Rockets in the first round in 4 games too 2. They moved on to the Memphis Grizzles and the series is now over and the Memphis Grizzles beat the Thunder in 5 games. The Indiana Pacers are beating the New York Knicks 3 games to 1. The Golden State Warriors are in a tight series with San Antonio Spurs and they are loosing too them 3 to 2.

The projected title winner for the MLB are either the San Francisco Giants or the Texas Rangers.
The Giants have won the World Series last year giving them an advantage for popularity, and are racking up wins at Home. Their record for Away has not been doing that good this season with more losses than wins. The Texas Rangers (so far) are the best in the west. With more wins at Home and Away the Rangers have the second highest percentage in the league.

Kevin Ware Injury Update

As you know Kevin Ware had a gruesome injury in the first half of the Louisville vs Duke game. It happened when Kevin Ware was closing out on a three point shot trying to contest it. He landed awkwardly on his right leg and we think his tibia came out of its socket and drove through his skin and his bone was outside his leg. His teammates broke down in tears… everyone did from coaches to players, probably even fans too. But now he is doing better, so we can be happy again.

Heat Extend The Winning Streak

The Heat have now won 16 games in a row. They have beat the Raptors, Bobcats, Rockets, Clippers, Lakers, Trail Blazers, Thunder, Hawks, Bulls, Sixers, Cavaliers, Kings, Grizzlies, Knicks, Timberwolves, and Magic, all in that order. Also in the first 6 games LeBron James scored 30 points in each game and shot 60%+ in all of them. The Heat are the best team in the NBA and they are on fire.

Key and Peele’s new video “East West Bowl” is a must-see video on YouTube. It is a trending video that everyone is talking about. Everybody thinks that it is so funny and everyone loves it, I will give you a couple names from the video… (The Player Formerly Known As Mousecop,) T.J A.J R.J Backslashinfourth V, Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon, Swirvithan L’Goodling-Splatt,T’Variusness King, Saggitariutt Jefferspin, Donkey Teeth, Javaris Jamar Javarison-Lamar, and Torque (Construction Noise) Lewith. These are the names of some of the “players” in the East West Bowl by Key and Peele.

LeBron; Youngest To 20,000

There are many prestigious awards in basketball, 30,000 points, making it to the Hall Of Fame. This is a start for LeBron James, being the youngest player to ever score 20,000 points in the history of basketball. That is a very amazing accomplishment for himself because he beat the last record, Kobe Bryant at 29 years and 122 days. LeBron James was only 28 years and 17 days. This wasn’t meant to be a long story but I just wanted to recognize LeBron James for this amazing accomplishment. While I’m still here though I will tell you that he also reached 5,000 assists last night too.

NFL Playoffs

So now we are in the NFL Playoffs and we already know that the Seattle Seahawks beat the Washington Redskins when RG3 got injured so he couldn’t play for the rest of the game. The Seahawks won 24-14. Also the Green Bay Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-10. The Green Bay D held Adrian Peterson, “AD” (stands for “All Day”, a nickname given by Peterson’s father) to 99 yards in the game. Christian Ponder didn’t play in the game because he had a bruised arm. Now to the AFC, the Houston Texans played the Cincinnati Bengals and won 19-13 and now they are going to play the New England Patriots. In the most emotional playoff game yet Ray Lewis returned to the field after stating that he was going to retire after the end of the season. The Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts 24-9 and Ray Lewis was second on the team with 9 tackles. So the schedule for next week in the Divisional Round, in the AFC the Baltimore Ravens play the Denver Broncos who demolished the Ravens a couple weeks ago but the Ravens didn’t have Ray Lewis. The Denver Broncos are on an 11 game winning streak. The New England Patriots play the Houston Texans who were crushed by the Patriots a couple weeks ago on Monday Night. In the NFC Seattle plays Atlanta, the best record in the league v.s a team who is on fire. The other game in the NFC is the Green Bay Packers v.s the San Francisco 49ers, just two very good teams facing off. So who do you think will win? Who will win the Conference Round? Who will play in the Super Bowl and who will win? I think that the Seattle Seahawks will beat the Green Bay Packers in the Conference Round and the New England Patriots will beat the Denver Broncos in the Conference Round and my pick in the Super Bowl will be the Seahawks with rookie Russell Wilson beating the New England Patriots.

Miami Heat Championship Protection

The Miami Heat have started off strong this year. Their new additions in Rashard Lewis, and Ray Allen will help them protect their championship and help them win another. Today is 11/29/12 and the Heat are 12-4 which is a very good record to start off the season. LeBron James is stepping up to the next level. His stats this year are 24.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. These numbers are already amazing and we are only 16 games into the season. Then you have D-Wade and Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh is averaging 19.3 points and 8.2 rebounds. Finally Dwyane Wade is averaging 19.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. The Heat have to play their game and keep on being play-makers, (LeBron, D-Wade, and Bosh.)
